Mick is Always True to His Word.
"There is no other realtor that I would ever consider using in the Austin area other than Mick Hooper of Crosswind Realty. Mick’s operation with Barbara (Listing Coordinator) and Christi (Closing Coordinator) works like a well oiled machine. Mick and his crew are true professionals in every way. Mick is always true to his word; if he says he will get papers to you-there they are; if he says he will call you back-he does. He constantly kept me up to date, at least weekly, on the sale of my lot. Everything that he said about the pricing of it, comparisons to what is around it, and the months that people typically look at this type of property, were all true. He constantly advertised my property and is such a good communicator, that I always felt comfortable with the entire process and always knew that he was in my corner and working hard for me. Bottom line: he found several buyers for my property, in a timely manner, and the closing was easy and pain free. I have used many other realtors over the years, in fact, I have two in my own family, but I have never had the premium treatment and the confidence in a group of people before such as Mick, Barbara and Christi. My only regret is that I have property far away from Austin that could use Mick’s expertise, and now that I am so spoiled, it will be hard to deal with someone else because they will have a hard time measuring up to Crosswind Realty."

Selling Your Home >House Odors
What is "H.O."? You can probably guess--it means "house odors".
Be careful of odors in your home. If your family room smells stuffy and stale, or if your cat or dog has left a distinctive odor in the hallway, take action by eliminating the source of the odor rather than merely treating the effects.
Smells have a powerful effect on the way people react to a house, and no amount of room freshener or vanilla on the light bulbs can mask a serious odor problem. In fact, such remedies may draw attention to the problem. Real estate agents have seen homes with an odor problem languish unsold on the market for months or sell for significantly less than comparable homes in the neighborhood.
If you think that you may have a problem, talk candidly with your real estate agent. Your agent should be able to offer some constructive suggestions, and perhaps refer you to a professional who can help banish H.O. from your home!
