On Solid Ground

Although Mick now spends a lot of time on his boat, his feet have always been planted firmly on the ground. Throughout high school, Mick attended the Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia, where he not only learned the value of personal discipline and a strict code of ethics, but he quickly rose to a leadership position as a ranking officer.
After studying business in college, Mick owned a home remodeling company, and later worked as a construction superintendent, supervising the building of more than 3,000 apartment units. Through these experiences he gained priceless construction knowledge and expertise.

Since Mick and his wife Tracy, a local physician, moved to Austin in 1990, Mick has developed a passion for the history of Lake Travis, the vibrant community and dynamic lifestyle that the lake offers.
